My primary skill sets involve print production and photoimaging (photo manipulation, color-adjustment, illustration). However, I'm also proficient in design, photography, proofing/editing, and copywriting, using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote, QuarkXPress, Word, and PowerPoint. I have a decent working knowledge of Dreamweaver, CSS, SEO, Strata CX, After Effects, and video editing software.

I wore many hats during my 12 years at XG-ad, including Imaging Specialist, Production Designer, Art Director, Designer, Photographer, Copywriter, Editor, and Creative Director. I was involved with the creative and production process for a large variety of projects, including brochures, posters, logos, catalogs, interactive, packaging, vehicle wraps, in-store displays, large-scale event marketing campaigns, and much more.

 

My eye for detail led to becoming the head of the production department as Quality Control Director and Production Manager. This included checking all aspects of production for both print and web, including the quality of the digital imaging, copy accuracy, spelling, grammar, color, verifying print specs and dies, creating mock-ups, and coordinating printers, press checks, etc. I regularly attended imaging seminars, print-house seminars, and online tutorials to stay on top of new techniques and trends.
